Video: IS straps suicide belt to mentally retarded man to target security forces in Mosul

Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Federal Police Command, on Saturday, announced that members of the Islamic State group strapped a suicide belt to a mentally retarded man in the city of Mosul, while security forces refused to kill him.

Federal Police Chief, Raed Shaker Jawdat, in a press statement said that the Islamic State terrorist group strapped a suicide belt to a mentally retarded man, then pushed him toward the troops stationed in the old city.

Snipers of the Federal Police refused to kill him, and fired some shots to frighten and force him to retreat, Jawdat further added.

Noteworthy, security forces from Iraqi Federal Police, Counter-Terrorism Service and al-Hashd al-Shaabi are still going through fierce battles to retake the areas held by the Islamic State in Nineveh Province
