The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Russian troops continue to focus efforts on restraining the actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces. Enemy personnel and military equipment units are being redeployed to compensate for losses. Separate units are expected to redeploy from the territory of Belarus after they acquire combat capabilities.
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces have repelled enemy attacks near the Donetsk region’s Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Andriivka, Novobakhmutivka, Opytne, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Novomykhailivka.
Russian invaders launched four missile strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region’s Rozumivka and the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Musiivka, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 50 times, both on Ukrainian military positions and peaceful settlements.
The threat of missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities all over Ukraine is persisting.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. The formation of enemy offensive groupings was not detected.
Belarusian special operations forces are completing tasks to strengthen the state border section.
In the Siverskyi direction, Russian invaders used mortars and artillery to open fire on the Chernihiv region’s Yanzhulivka, Mykolaivka and Halahanivka, and the Sumy region’s Vilna Sloboda.
In the Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy struck the Kharkiv region’s Strilecha, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky, Chuhunivka and Ambarne with mortars and rocket artillery.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers are holding the defense. The enemy launched artillery strikes near the Kharkiv region’s Bolohivka, Kamianka, Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops are focusing efforts on conducting offensive operations. The enemy used the whole range of artillery pieces to open fire near the Luhansk region’s Makiivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka, and the Donetsk region’s Yampolivka and Torske.
In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, Russian invaders continue offensive actions. The enemy struck the Donetsk region’s Serebrianka, Spirne, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Marinka and Novomykhailivka with tanks and artillery.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy launched artillery strikes near the Donetsk region’s Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva and Neskuchne.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian occupiers are conducting defensive actions. The enemy used mortars, cannon and rocket artillery to open fire on the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces and peaceful settlements, situated close to the contact line.
In the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson directions, Russian occupiers are holding the positional defense. The enemy continues to launch artillery strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements on the right bank of the Dnieper, namely the city of Kherson.
According to the General Staff, Russian troops are suffering significant losses. The enemy object near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Enerhodar was confirmed as struck. On November 26, 2022, six Russian military equipment units were damaged and about 30 invaders injured. Following the actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, about 80 enemy troops were injured near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Polohy and Chernihivka. Russian personnel losses are yet to be updated.
Additionally, about 30 Russian military equipment units are being repaired in the Kherson region’s Hola Prystan.
In order to discredit Ukraine’s Defense Forces, Russian invaders are shelling peaceful settlements and blaming the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy is spreading disinformation about the Ukrainian military allegedly detaining citizens within the de-occupied areas over collaborative activities in order to expand the exchange pool.
