Russian forces strike Zaporizhzhia region more than 80 times in past day
The Russian military shelled Zaporizhzhia region more than 80 times on Tuesday, November 8.
Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
“Russian non-humans shelled Zaporizhzhia region more than 80 times during the past day. They targeted civil infrastructure facilities 49 times in 17 settlements,” Tymoshenko wrote.
According to him, 18 reports about damage and destruction were recorded.

“Two people were injured by shelling,” added the deputy head of the President’s Office.
As reported, the Russian army attacked the city of Dnipro with kamikaze drones at night. At least four people were injured.

Air defense forces destroy enemy Kh-31 missile over Odesa region
Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down an enemy Kh-31 missile over Odesa region.
Spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhii Bratchuk, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Morning. Odesa. The destroyed Kh-31 missile, no enemy missile carriers in the Black Sea are the main news of the morning,” Bratchuk wrote.
According to him, the situation in the city and region is fully under control.

The administration’s spokesman also said about successes in the counter-sabotage work, noting that he would provide “details later.”
